The business problem
Juan Taco needed diners to order from their tables while staff managed the same orders through the restaurant operation. A separate digital menu without a connected staff workflow would leave employees relaying information between systems.
My contribution and implementation
I built a QR-code ordering flow that opened a mobile-friendly menu for the table and sent submitted orders to the kitchen. Contactless payment was part of the customer journey. The POS tracked the orders through to completion, connecting the customer-facing interaction with the staff view.
Delivered functionality
Diners and staff had a connected ordering workflow rather than independent menu and POS interfaces. The delivered capabilities cover menu access, order submission, payment and operational tracking.
