A global marketplace connecting expats and travellers with vetted local professionals — service requests, offers, and secure escrow payments in one platform.
The challenge
Expats, travellers, and anyone navigating life abroad face the same problem in every new country: finding a professional they can trust — a lawyer, translator, banker, or local fixer — with no easy way to compare options or pay safely across borders. UlixAI needed a single platform that worked the same way whether the request came from Lisbon or Lahore.
What I built
I built the marketplace in Laravel: service requesters post a request (visa help, banking, storage, housing, and more), verified professionals across 195+ countries respond with offers, and the two sides compare and choose. Payments are held in Stripe escrow until the service is delivered, with 3D Secure protection and a supervised dispute process, so money only moves once both sides are satisfied.
The result
UlixAI launched as a working global network — live today, connecting service requesters and professionals across nearly 200 countries with secure, escrow-backed payments built in from day one.
