The role
As a DevOps Consultant at GoGetSolutions, I help the engineering team ship software faster and operate it with confidence. My work sits at the boundary between development and operations: designing CI/CD pipelines, containerising applications with Docker, and hardening Linux server environments so releases are calm, repeatable events rather than risky ones.
What I focus on
The goal is always leverage — automating the deploy so it's a single push, adding monitoring and safe rollbacks so problems are caught early, and right-sizing cloud resources so the bill reflects actual usage. I document everything so the team can operate the infrastructure without me in the room.
